Professional gutter cleaning in NH Seacoast

Why gutter cleaning matters

When gutters back up with leaves, debris, and sediment, water overflows and pools against your foundation, fascia, and siding. Over time this causes rot, mold, basement leaks, and costly structural repairs. We recommend most NH homeowners clean gutters at least twice per year — once in late spring and once in late fall after leaves are down.

Gutter cleaning cost in NH

Most NH homes cost $150–$250 for a standard gutter cleaning, depending on linear footage, height, and how long it's been since the last cleaning. Heavily clogged gutters or homes with three or more stories may run higher. We provide free estimates before any work begins.

Ice dams and clogged gutters

In NH, clogged gutters are a direct contributor to ice dams — the buildup of ice along the roofline that forces meltwater back under shingles. Keeping gutters clear in late fall allows water to drain properly instead of refreezing at the eave. It's one of the most cost-effective things you can do before winter to protect your roof and interior.

Gutter brightening — tiger stripe removal

Tiger stripes are the dark vertical streaks that run down the outside face of gutters. They're caused by a combination of oxidation, algae, and electrostatic bonding of dirt — and they won't come off with a garden hose or standard pressure washing. We use a specific chemical treatment (often called gutter brightening) that breaks down the bonded staining and restores the white or painted finish of your gutter faces. The difference is dramatic and often makes gutters look brand new.

Tiger stripe removal is available as a standalone service or as an add-on to gutter cleaning or house washing — since we're already on-site and set up, it's the most efficient time to have it done.

FAQs

How often should I clean my gutters in NH?
At least twice a year — once in late spring after tree seeds and pollen have fallen, and once in late fall after the leaves are fully down. Homes with many overhanging trees may need cleaning 3–4 times per year.
Can clogged gutters really cause that much damage?
Yes. Water overflowing from clogged gutters is one of the leading causes of foundation damage, basement leaks, and fascia rot. A $150–$200 gutter cleaning is far cheaper than the thousands it costs to repair the damage from water that had nowhere to go.
Do I need to be home?
No. We just need access to your property and an outdoor water spigot. We'll send before and after photos when the job is complete.
Do you clean gutters in the spring or fall?
Both — and ideally twice a year. Late spring clears tree seeds, pollen, and early-season growth. Late fall (after peak leaf drop, typically November in NH) is the most important cleaning to ensure gutters are clear heading into winter and to prevent ice dam formation.
What is gutter brightening / tiger stripe removal?
Tiger stripes are the dark vertical streaks on the outside face of gutters caused by oxidation, algae, and electrostatically bonded dirt. Standard pressure washing won't remove them. Gutter brightening uses a specific chemical treatment to break down and lift that bonded staining, restoring the appearance of your gutter faces.
